On Tuesday the principal at the school where I did my long-term job asked me if I wanted to do another long-term job. This one is for a special education teacher. Special education is really not my thing, but I agreed because it's steady work and because it shows that I am flexible and willing to help out. The pay is regular sub pay, not long term pay, so that stinks but at least it's a job where I am working 5 days a week. I will get to know my students and the other teachers, and I am on the same schedule everyday. It's only until Nov. 16, but that's okay. I'm happy that the principal asked me. There are other subs he could have asked. I figure he must like me
Re: Steady Work
The only problem is, it's a very small school and the only school in the district. There are not too many opprotunities, however you never know when someone will retire.
